Open to students in grades 9-12, Residential Life at Currey Ingram Academy continues the mission of the day school program by providing extended academic support while building independence and promoting responsibility.
Located on a beautiful 83-acre campus, Currey Ingram students participate in a wide-range of outdoor experiences, afterschool activities, athletics, arts and rich traditions such as our Henderson House program that they look forward to all year long.
Mustang Athletics is an educational-based athletics program that provides a competitive and safe environment. Offering both individual and team sports to students in grades K-12, all students are encouraged to participate.

Cross Carlos Semptimphelter
Cross Semptimphelter, son of Traci and Scott Semptimphelter, has attended Currey Ingram since 1st grade. During his time here, he has participated in Theatre and is a member of the Thespian Society. His favorite CIA memory is The trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Stellacci. Outside of school, Cross enjoys video games, taekwondo and spending time with friends. Cross encourages future students to “Cherish the time you have here and have fun because the fun doesn't last forever, but the memories at Currey Ingram do.” In the fall, Cross plans to attend Lipscomb University.
Jessie Ricks
Jessie Ricks, the daughter of Terri and Ryan Ricks, has attended Currey Ingram since the 5th grade. During her time here she has been an active member of the cheerleading team. Her favorite CIA memories are Homecoming and Prom and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Stellacci. Outside of school, Jessie enjoys art, dance, & spending time on her Aunt's farm. In the fall, Jessie plans to attend Vanderbilt Next Steps.
Jude "Mason" Starling
Mason Starling, son of Merideth and John starling III has attended Currey Ingram since the 8th grade. During his time here, he has participated in Varsity golf and quiz bowl. His favorite CIA memories include the Galápagos Islands and Ecuador trip, freshman year field day, and Homecoming court. His favorite teachers are Dr. Graham, Dr. Nichols-Paez, Ms. Thompson, Mr. Funke and Mr Griffin. In the fall, Mason plans to attend Samford University in Birmingham Alabama where he will major in Sports Medicine.
Lola Piccalo Howe
Lola Piccalo Howe, daughter of Gina and Michael Howe, has attended Currey Ingram since 5th grade. During her time here she has participated in cheerleading, Theatre, Rock Band, and track. Her favorite CIA memories are the trip to Spain and recording at Abbey Road Studios in London. Outside of school, Lola enjoys reading, spending time with friends, going to concerts, and singing. Her favorite teacher is her Junior year English teacher, Ms. Dunavant. In the fall, Lola plans to attend Belmont University where she will major in English.
London Latham
London Latham, daughter of Aimee and Britt Latham, has attended Currey Ingram since the 1st grade. During her time here, she has participated in Cheerleading, Theatre, and Basketball. Her favorite memory is the trip to the Tennessee Aquarium where they spent the night on a riverboat. London’s favorite thing about the school is the teachers. In the fall, London plans to attend the IDEAL program at Lipscomb University.
Macy Pfeifer
Macy Pfeifer, daughter of Callie and Andy Pfeifer, has attended Currey Ingram since the 11th grade. During her time here she has participated in both Volleyball and Student Council. Her favorite Currey Ingram memory is Homecoming 2024, and her favorite teacher is Ms. Dunavant. Outside of school she has earned her second degree black belt. After graduation she plans to attend Lipscomb University where she will major in Business and Marketing.
Maria King
Maria King is the daughter of Tim King and Cary Grayson. She has attended Currey Ingram since 8th grade. Her favorite CIA memory is the trip to Spain her Junior year and her favorite teacher is Ms. Dunavant. Outside of school, Maria has been competing in gymnastics for fourteen years and is a level 10 gymnast. In the fall, Maria will attend Northern Illinois University where she will be a competing member of their gymnastic team while majoring in psychology and minoring in criminal justice and sociology.
Matthew Brown
Matthew Brown, son of Helen and James Brown, has attended Currey Ingram since 10th grade. During his time here, he has participated in Theatre, Student Council, National Honor Society, Currey Ingram Literary Society, International Thespian Society, E-Sports, Anime Club, Walking Club, TTRPG Club, Broadcasting, Dance, DND Club, Chess Club, Cinematography, and Video Games Club. One of his favorite CIA memories is being awarded the Integrity Award. In the fall, Matthew plans to attend Lipscomb University.
Michael Akande
Michael Akande, son of Ezekiel and Ola Akande, has attended Currey Ingram since 5th grade. Outside of school, Michael has enjoyed being a member of our Esports team. His favorite CIA memory is the Senior Retreat, and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Stellacci. Outside of school, Michael enjoys watching television and playing video games. Michael will attend Columbia State Community College next year.
Mya Gordon
Mya Gordon is the daughter of Carly Fabian and Lester Torres. She has attended Currey Ingram since 11th grade. In the fall, Mya plans to attend University of Illinois on a full ride scholarship for gymnastics where she will major in Kinesiology.
Patrick Rambo
Patrick Rambo, son of Richard Rambo and Mary Katherine Bass, has attended Currey Ingram since the 9th grade. During his time here, he has participated in tennis, beekeeping, as well as working after school in the BOOST program. His favorite CIA memory is working the summer camps and BOOST. His favorite teachers are Ms. Fischer and Mr. Griffin. After graduation, Patrick plans to attend Columbia State where he will train to become an EMT.
Peter Giorgio
Peter Giorgio, son of Sherri and Todd Giorgio, has attended CIA since 1st grade. During his time here, he has played on the tennis team. His favorite CIA memory is the Chattanooga trip in 7th grade. In his free time he enjoys reading, playing with his dog, watching movies, and gaming. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Stellacci and Mr. Buchholz. In the fall, Peter plans to attend Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
Reed Clark
Reed Clark, son of Moira and Will Clark, has attended Currey Ingram since 11th grade. He has been an active member of the basketball team. His favorite memory is the Paris/London trip, and his favorite teacher is Coach Yanes. Outside of school, Reed enjoys basketball, skateboarding, and weightlifting. Next year, Reed plans to attend the University of Alabama.
Sedona Lee
Sedona Lee, daughter of Robert and Libbi Lee, has attended Currey Ingram since the 4th grade. During her time here, she has been involved in cinematography, Dungeons and Dragons Club, table tennis, Christian Club, and Theatre Tech. Her favorite CIA memories are the Odyssey hiking trip out west and helping lead the Middle School Dungeons and Dragons club. Outside of school, Sedona enjoys sleeping, spending time with her cat, and attending youth group. Her favorite CIA teacher is Mrs. Powell. Next year, Sedona will be attending Belmont University to major in motion pictures production.
Shea Eileen Locke
Shea Eileen Locke, daughter of Suzanne and Brad Locke, has attended Currey Ingram since the 3rd grade. During her time here, she has been involved in Theatre, Rock Band, National Honors Society, Strength Training, Cheerleading, Literary Society, International Thespian Society, GSA, and Beekeeping Club. One of her favorite CIA memories are the Ecuador and Galapagos Islands trip and recording a song at Abbey Road Studios during the Paris/London trip. Her favorite teachers are Ms. Fischer and Mr. Hurston. They both helped her academically and taught her how to love herself, even when she fails. Next fall, she plans to attend Elon University where she will major in Elementary/Special Education.
Simon Crawford
Simon Crawford, son of Sheri and Chad Crawford, has attended Currey Ingram since the 8th grade. During his time here he has been involved in video game club, weight training, and volunteering. Next year he plans to attend Lipscomb University.
Theo Bays
Theo Bays, son of Jennifer and Greg Bays, has attended Currey Ingram since 1st grade. During his time here, he has participated in Student Council, flag football, weight training, and Esports. His favorite teachers are Mr. Kelly, for helping him learn to be behind and in front of the camera and Mr. Allen for helping him become a better writer. His favorite CIA memory is the Paris/London trip, specifically visiting Abbey Road Studios. In the fall, Theo plans to attend Savannah College for Art and Design (SCAD) where he will major in Cinematography.
Toney "Luna" Nash
Toney “Luna” Nash, daughter of Nola Nash, has attended Currey Ingram since the 1st grade. During her time here she has been a part of Res life, Theatre, Rock Band, cross country, and soccer. Her favorite CIA memories have been the Odyssey trips to the Galapagos Islands and recording at Abbey Road in London. Her favorite teachers have been Ms. Peña and Mr. Giffin. Outside of school, Luna enjoys mountain biking, spending time with her dog, playing piano, playing Roblox, and exploring nature. Next fall, Luna plans to attend Hampshire College in Massachusetts where she will study Animal Behavior.
Vaughn Dickerson
Vaughn Dickerson, son of Scott Dickerson, has attended Currey Ingram since 11th grade. During his time here, he has participated in track and cross county. Outside of school, Vaughn enjoys hiking, traveling, running, reading, gardening, and gaming. His favorite CIA teachers are Mrs. Stellacci, Ms. Peters, Ms. Kersey, and Mr. Funke. After taking a gap year, Vaughn plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University.
William James Holden
William James Holden, son of Mark & Melissa Holden, has attended Currey Ingram since the 4th grade. During his time here, he has participated in TTRPG Club, Soccer, Golf, Theatre, Student Council, Beekeeping, and Lego Club. His favorite CIA memory is the Galapagos trip Junior year, and his favorite teacher is Mr. Williamson. After graduation, he plans to attend Belmont University, where he will decide to major in Acting, Biology, or Education.
Zara Tanriverdi
Zara Tanriverdi, daughter of Sultan and Kahraman Tanriverdi, has attended Currey Ingram since the 10th grade. During her time here she has participated in theatre and volleyball. Her favorite teachers are Ms. Pena, Ms Dunavant, Ms Stellacci, and Mr Kelly and her favorite CIA memories are Bandfest, Field Day, and the Paris/London Odyssey trip. Outside of school Zara enjoys Hiking, Hanging out with friends, and traveling. In the fall, Zara plans to attend Belmont University.
Abigail Bowling
Abby Bowling, daughter of Heather and Andrew Bowling, has attended Currey Ingram since the 8th grade. During her time here, she has been an active member of the Varsity tennis team. Her favorite memory is winning the spirit stick and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Kersey. Outside of school, Abby enjoys horseback riding, legos, and puzzles. In the fall, Abby plans to attend Columbia State Community College.
Alexander McClory
Alexander McClory, son of Sarah and Craig McClory, has attended Currey Ingram since the 7th grade. During his time here, he has been involved in tennis, student council, National Honor Society, Youth Leadership Brentwood, basketball, and soccer. Outside of school, Alexander is an Eagle Scout. His favorite teacher is Ms. Fischer. In the fall, Alexander plans to attend Auburn University where he will major in Industrial Engineering.
Arshan King
Arshan King, son of Scherzade King and Roderick King, has attended Currey Ingram since 10th grade. During his time here, Arshan has been a part of Res Life, basketball, track, Rock Band, weight lifting, and National Honor Society. His favorite CIA memory is the trip to the Galapagos Island and his favorite teachers are Coach Yanes, Mr. Kelly and Mr. McKey. In the fall, Arshan plans to attend Towson University. Where he will study physiology with a goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.
Ava Uebelhor
Ava Uebelhor, daughter of Shelley and Tony Uebelhor, has attended Currey Ingram since the 9th grade. During her time here, she has participated in tennis and cheerleading. Her favorite memories include cheering, playing tennis and Homecoming. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Peters. Outside of school, Ava enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends and family. Next fall, she plans to attend Vincennes University in Jasper Indiana where She will major in Business and Finance.
Bee Barrett
Bee Barrett, child of Amanda and Chris Barrett, has attended Currey Ingram since 10th grade. Bee’s favorite Currey Ingram memories are the Odyssey trips to The Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, England, and France. Outside of school, Bee enjoys drawing, ballet, playing piano, reading, and going to concerts. In the fall, Bee plans to attend Lincoln Memorial University and begin her path into veterinary medicine.
Brock McLeod
Brock McLeod, son of Cami Canales Travis McLeod, has attended Currey Ingram since 11th grade. Brock, who is from San Antonio, Texas, has been a part of our Res Life program, the E-Sports team and the chess club. His favorite CIA memory is the Galapagos Islands trip. His favorite teacher is Mr. McKey, his coding teacher. In the fall, he plans to attend Angelo State University where he will major in Computer Science.
Bryce Phillips
Bryce Phillips, son of Jacqueline and Scott Phillips, has attended Currey Ingram since Kindergarten. His favorite memories at CIA have been all the dances. His favorite teachers have been Mr. Funke and Ms. Kersey. Outside of school, Bryce enjoys playing video games, watching superhero shows and movies. In the fall, Bryce plans to attend Next Steps at Vanderbilt University.
Caleb Kristopher Booher
Caleb Kristopher Booher, son of Joye Booher and Brad Booher, has attended Currey Ingram since 6th grade. During his time here he has participated in Basketball, theater, track and field, soccer, and tennis. His favorite CIA memories are the dances and field trips. His favorite CIA teacher is Mr. Buchholz. Outside of school he enjoys hunting, fishing, driving his truck, watching tv, hanging out with friends, and playing sports. Following graduation, Caleb plans to enlist in the United States Army.
Christopher "Cade" Kreidel
Cade Kreidel, son of Cindy Kreidel and Chris Kreidel, has attended Currey Ingram since 4th grade. During his time here, he has participated in cross country, track, flag football, tennis, golf, basketball, and student council. Outside of school, Cade enjoys writing and recording music, drawing, and hanging out with friends and family. In the fall, Cade plans to attend NARROW GATE, a local non-profit organization dedicated to educating young men over the course of a year in hands-on business development & lifelong christian discipleship. Cade then plans to attend Liberty University in the Fall of 2025.
Claire Hawkins
Claire Hawkins, daughter of Stephanie and Greg Hawkins, has attended Currey Ingram since 6th grade. During her time here, she has been involved in Theatre, National Honors Society, Literacy Society, and D and D club. Her favorite CIA memory is the National Parks trip, and her favorite teacher is Mr. Hurston. Outside of school, Claire enjoys karate, writing, hiking, and skiing. After graduation, Claire plans to attend Denver University where she will major in Physics and English.
Cody Jackson
Cody Jackson is the son of Kristina and Bill Jackson, has attended Currey Ingram since the 7th grade. During his time here, he has been an active member of the tennis team. In his free time he enjoys reading. His favorite memories from CIA are all the field trips he has taken. In the fall, Cody plans to attend The University of Tennessee at Martin.
Dario Gamboa
Dario Gamboa is the son of Sandra Frias and Patricio Gamboa, has attended Currey Ingram since 10th grade. During his time here, he has been a part of our Res Life program, Student Council, Esports, Varsity Tennis, and he was elected Homecoming King. His favorite CIA memories have been all the field trips and his favorite teacher has been Dr. Nichols-Paez. Outside of school he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends. After graduation, Dario plans on studying mathematics at Saint Louis University.
Ella McClory
Ella McClory is the daughter of Sarah & Craig McClory. She has attended Currey Ingram since the 9th grade. During her time at CIA Ella has been involved in Varsity tennis, Student Council, National Honors Society, Model UN, & Youth in Government. She served as Student Body President & was named the 2024 Homecoming Queen. Her favorite CIA memory is the trip to the Galapagos Islands. Outside of school, Ella is involved in competitive horseback riding. In the fall, Ella plans to attend Vanderbilt University where she will major in engineering.
Ethan Hunt
Ethan Hunt, the son of Jim Hunt and Christine Hunt, has attended Currey Ingram since 10th grade. During his time here, Ethan has been a part of Res Life, Quiz Bowl, Weight Training, GSA, Literary Society, and Tennis Club. His favorite CIA memory is staring at the top of a volcano in the Galapagos Islands during the spring Odyssey trip. In his free time, he enjoys writing and watching movies. After taking a GAP year, Ethan plans to attend the Nashville Film Institute.
Grant Beauchamp
Grant Beauchamp, son of John and Jenne Beauchamp, has attended Currey Ingram since the 7th grade. During his time here he has participated in Coding, Broadcasting, choir, and Rock Band. His favorite CIA memory is playing at the Exit/In with the Rock Band. His favorite teacher has been Mr. Kelly. In his free time, Grant enjoys playing drums, listening to music, and attending concerts. After graduation, Grant plans to attend Columbia State Community College where he will major in music.
Greyson Erim
Greyson Erim, son of Michele Erim and Raif Erim, has attended Currey Ingram since the 5th grade. During his time here, he has participated in Basketball, Cross Country, and Tennis. His favorite CIA memory is being awarded Most Improved Student his Junior year. After graduation, Greyson plans to attend Western Kentucky University and major in Broadcasting.
Gus Caputo
Gus Caputo, son of Abby Caputo and Lou Caputo, has attended Currey Ingram since 3rd grade. During his time here, he has participated in tennis, Student Council, and Rock Band. All the field trips and Odyssey trips have been his favorite part of CIA. His favorite teacher is Mr. Brian Funke. Outside of school, you can usually find Gus practicing guitar. After graduation, Gus plans to attend Dark Horse Institute.
Hannah Jane Brophy
Hannah Jane Brophy, daughter of Steve and Deborah Brophy, has attended Currey Ingram since the 7th grade. During her time here, she has participated in Rock Band, CIA news, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Theatre, and Beekeeping. Her favorite CIA memory is meeting her best friend. Her favorite teachers have been Mr. Bradbury and Mr. Kelly. Outside of school, Hannah Jane enjoys attending Concerts, spending time with friends, reading, music, hiking, making short films, and driving. Next fall, Hannah Jane plans to attend Belmont University where she will major in Major Motion Picture Production.
Jack Cash
Jack Cash is the son of Laura Weber White and John Carter Cash. He has attended Currey Ingram since 10th grade. He has participated in weight lifting, Rock Band, beekeeping, and theatre. His favorite memory is the trip to the Galapagos Islands. Outside of school, Jack enjoys skateboarding, rock climbing, playing music, reading, and snowboarding. In the fall, Jack plans to attend Colorado State University where he will major in Environmental Resource Management.
Jake Scott
Jake Scott, son of Christina Owen and grandson of Deborah Owen, has attended Currey Ingram since 3rd grade. During his time here he has served as Freshmen Student Council Representative, played on the golf team and run track. He also helped co-lead an Explore class. One of his favorite CIA memories is walking through the streets of Paris with his friends during the Odyssey trip. Outside of school, Jake enjoys cooking, reading, camping, working on his truck, and cheering on the Red Sox. Mrs. Stellaccci is his favorite teacher. Next fall, Jake plans to attend Columbia State where he will study Culinary Arts.
