The Middle School program is designed to promote academic and social learning for students in grades 5-8.
The curriculum includes relevant and challenging material and offers opportunities for exploratory activities. Instruction incorporates a variety of learning and teaching strategies in small-group settings. Students gain competence in advocating for their individual needs, allowing them to participate fully in the learning process and to develop the skills necessary for their academic careers.
The Middle School advisory program is in place to provide a supportive environment that addresses the unique strengths and needs of individuals in a group structure. Advisors take an active role in reinforcing character traits, establishing and maintaining organizational skills, and supporting student learning. In the Middle School, individual needs are understood, and students expand their abilities to persevere and experience success.
