While the summer provides a break for students, the campus at CIA has been busy! Over the first two weeks of July, the Carell Fieldhouse was buzzing as the Frist Gymnasium was receiving a makeover. The floor in the Frist Gym had been the same design since the beginning, but thanks to the thoughtful design work of Athletic Director Kelly Fish and Assistant Athletic Director Reid McFadden, the 2013-2014 school year will unveil a brand new floor.

The floor in the Frist Gym had been the same design since the beginning, but thanks to the thoughtful design work of Athletic Director Kelly Fish and Assistant Athletic Director Reid McFadden, the 2013-2014 school year will unveil a brand new floor. This is a necessary step in floor maintenance and both the Frist Gym and Mustang Gym received their necessary refinishes. The floor, officially unveiled to the Mustang Basketball and Volleyball teams in July, will serve as the new home of Mustang Athletics.
"We are so grateful for the facility and resources we have at Currey Ingram Academy. They come with the responsibility to keep them in good condition for our students and student-athletes. This summer provided the special opportunity to give the floor a new look and it was such a fun process! I can't wait to see our Mustangs on the floor!" -Kelly Fish
