Mustang Cheerleaders Bring School Spirit to the Basketball Season
This year, Mustang Athletics has the highest turnout ever for Girls Cheerleading. In previous years, the Mustangs have only had one combined team, grades 5-12. Due to a high interest, the Middle School and Upper School will each have a cheerleading squad.

Over the last couple of weeks, each team has been working hard to fine-tune their cheers and spirit in preparation for tonight's home opener for both the Varsity Boys and Middle School Boys Gold Basketball teams.
In her first year as the head coach for the Middle School squad, Courtney Fedou has a group that is very excited about the upcoming basketball season. With a good mix of new cheerleaders and veteran cheerleaders, the spirit looks to be in full effect for all of the Middle School games.
Returning as the head coach of the Varsity squad is Alli Faulk. With her largest group ever, Coach Faulk is ready to see her girls fill the Frist Gym with school spirit during Varsity games. this year. The team has been practicing over the last couple of weeks, preparing to lead cheers during the varsity games as well as bringing spirit to many other school events.
