Our team of educators has embraced the fact that students learn differently, so they must be taught differently. An individualized, structured, multisensory approach to student instruction is emphasized; teachers are focused on creating memorable, multimodal, multifaceted, and diverse experiences for students. The school’s diagnostic feedback processes and 4:1 student to teacher ratio ensure students are consistently placed in an optimal learning environment. Currey Ingram Academy’s commitment to empowering students with learning differences continues beyond school hours with its residential life program. It is open to students in grades 9-12 and provides another transformative level of individualized intervention. Boarding students experience specialized support as they develop essential life, social, and self-advocacy skills. At Currey Ingram’s residential life program, students:
  • Participate seamlessly within the elements of the existing day program.
  • Get well-rounded, extended academic support.
  • Develop independence and responsibility within the intentional structure of residential life.
  • Engage in fun, socially-driven experiences during the week and over the weekend.
